Who We Are
We advocate to end food insecurity, improve equitable access to nutritious food, and address hunger’s root causes for all New Hampshire residents.
Everyone should have access to the food they need to lead a healthy life.
Our Story
NH Hunger Solutions was established in 2017 as a grassroots initiative to expand school breakfast and summer meals for children. Today, the organization is dedicated to making sure our food and nutrition systems support everyone.
NH Hunger Solutions uses targeted advocacy and policy reform to fix the systemic issues that perpetuate food insecurity, and works to ensure that every New Hampshire household has access to the food they need to thrive.
In 2026 through 2029, we will work to:
-
Close the gap between those eligible and those enrolled in federal nutrition programs through administrative and legislative advocacy.
-
Expand access to healthy meals for children through school and community partnerships.
-
Increase public and policymaker understanding of hunger in New Hampshire and how to solve it.
-
Support regional and statewide food access coalitions.
